About Jake:

Jake is, and has been, many things to many people. When asked, “What do you do for work?” his response has been refined to, “I make dreams come true.” Each client brings a desire to be, do, or experience something in their lives. Jake’s purpose is to make that happen.

Jake found personal coaching while attending Drake University in Des Moines, IA. What began as a volunteer role, coaching wrestling at a local high school, grew into a desire to help people realize, and unlock their potential. A short time later, having relocated to Albuquerque, NM, he started a personal training and coaching business, expanding his scope of practice from young athletes to people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and desires. With change came challenges, and working with adults brought many: spouses, children, work schedules, and hardened perceptions, to name a few. As his practice grew, so did his perspective, viewing each client as an individual harboring unique potential.

Alongside the development of his practice, Jake began pursuing competitive trail running. Within a few years, he was competing in 100-mile ultramarathons. These events also filled a wanderlust for adventure and travel, exposing him to different environments and geographic locations, while traversing vast distances on foot. From 135 miles in northern Minnesota at the Arrowhead 135, to 135 miles in Death Valley, California at the Badwater 135, extreme environments assured intense personal challenge. Growth compounded, both personally and professionally.

Today, Jake’s practice revolves around the four pillars of lifestyle: movement, nutrition, longevity, and performance. From conversations arise pathways to success. With an intuitive nature, he utilizes a holistic approach to personal coaching and training, ensuring no stone is left unturned on one’s path to personal lifestyle optimization.
