Words to adhere to...
This micro-essay was written 7 years ago. After many years of training clients in many different settings, I began to experience serious doubt as to the impact I was making. Were my clients learning anything or simply waiting for me to tell them what to do? Was this a matter of X’s and O’s or were they grasping the nuance of lifestyle change? Was fitness just a means to balance the unhealthy aspects of their lives?
Purpose & Power was born out of a personal necessity to communicate what gave rise to Xclusive Fitness and Above The Plain.
Fit / Healthy / Confident
These words are atomic, they are full of energy. Whenever a person who has attained says something, the word becomes a seed, and for millions of years the word will remain a seed and seek a heart. Become the soil. They are seeds; which will enter into your heart if you allow them, and you will be totally different through them.

Words are like fire, providing warmth or causing chaos. Knowledge is fuel. What we continue to let in grows. Action is the initiation. Where one places attention one is pulled. Utilization of correct (positive, directed) self-talk is paramount to the actualization of your vision. Life intentionally lived, is a continuous visualization of our imaginations. How one speaks to oneself frames the actions taken or avoided.
Plan positive action toward a desired outcome. It won’t ever be as exciting as it is right now. When those words hit, and a flurry of desire rushes over you, harness that excitement. That passion you feel is youth reincarnated. A heightened state. Here you are, living your purpose, with anticipation flaming toward reality.
Purpose + Process = Outcome:
Your outcome is your chief aim. Decide on its magnitude:

Define your purpose. Why change? Why pursue the outcome? Get a clear vision of who you desire to be.
is there a reward?
is it a feeling?
is it a challenge?
is it a personal goal?
Live/plan the process. Analyze any and all elements, assign importance, prioritize/order them, initiate.

variety and confusion or minimalism and familiarity?

Power is the way. Decide, then define your purpose. Create/form a plan. Get on with living. Movement is continual/continuous. Mind, body, or both… your plan evolves into a process… this process becomes automatic. Thought, too much time in preparation, or analysis, paralyzes the trial.
From this moment forward work diligently to manifest your imagination. Harness the power of the deadline to bring to life that which you desire. From your thoughts (inner) arises the physical (outer).
